It was a busy summer & now fall is in full swing! You will not catch me sipping on a Pumpkin Spice Latte, but I do enjoy a good tripe to a pumpkin patch. Hopefully my new home base will have some fall activities for me to take in!

Which leads me to the question you're all probably dying to ask: Where is your new home base Campbell?

The answer: Greensboro, North Carolina!

Almost two weeks ago, I started a new job in corporate partnerships with the Greensboro Complex a collection of venues that host all the live sports & entertainment! From concerts to wrestling, hockey to comedy, we've got it all!

So far so good too! I've gotten to meet some cool people & already seen some cool shows! Patti Labelle, Chaka Khan, Gladys Knight, & Stephanie Mills performed on my first day! What a way to kick off a new job right!

Corporate partnerships is an interesting world & a fun one! I think we've all started to see how complicated partnerships can be as women's sports has boomed in recent years. But that's a longer conversation for another time and I will definitely write it.

Since graduation in June:

  • I have moved twice

  • seen a great friend get married

  • explored a city I've always wanted to see

  • visited a close friend in her new home base

  • got to be a substitute teacher

  • started a new job.

When I left Seattle in June, I didn't think there was much to look forward to. I was unsure if I had made the right choice about my career, my life, my relationships. But looking back 3 months and I couldn't gave made a better choice.

Life isn't a straight line and we can't always see the light at the end of the tunnel, but it'll come.

When I was prepping to start my new job, a mentor texted me, something I will always think about.

And, I'll leave you with it: Just remember, , you have everything you need.
